Federal protections

The federal Fair Housing Act prohibits housing discrimination because of:

California protections

California law provides additional protections, including ancestry, citizenship, immigration status, primary language, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, source of income, military or veteran status, and age, along with other characteristics protected by law.

Community and school information

Community pages describe housing, amenities, transportation, recreation, and objective resources. Dean does not direct clients toward or away from communities based on protected characteristics. School information should be verified with the relevant district.
